I hate it when reputable sites like Sportsnet post articles like this. The Headline is "Report: Jonathan Drouin could be traded in the next 24 hours". Technically, just about anybody in the NHL COULD be traded in the next 24 hours... I could be dead in the next 24 hours... I could be a millionaire in the next 24 hours... I could be in China in the next 24 hours...

I wish there could be a rule against click-bait articles (nothing against the OP, because it's easy to fall for and I've done it myself). Our time on this planet is limited people. Lets try to use it accordingly!

That is a reckless prediction to make unless you have it on really good authority that it's true.
There's nothing that is forcing Yzerman to move Drouin right away, unless someone makes him an insane offer. Drouin's likely one injury to a forward away from being called back up anyway.

just don't read it, plain and simple. there are writers on this site that use click bait titles too, which is quite unfortunate as they could have a lot of great content written that a lot of people will now avoid because they resort to those awful gimmicks.
the best example was that Tanner guy who used to post here (i think from the hockey writers?), the guy contributed absolutely nothing to the site except posting a link to his article with a clickbait title.

i blocked that section from showing up i guess i was hoping he just went away. i think THW has a deal with dobber so i'm not entirely mad.
i wish we can get to the point where there are more people ignoring click bait articles than there are people clicking on them.

That was really a reckless prediction. For that to have been the case, it would have to mean that a deal was in place pending a physical or something.
If the destination was St. Louis, that would then lead to the conclusion that the player(s) going the other way would not have been in the line-up last night.
So I don't see how both of these could have been accurate.

Personally, the only thing reputable about the pundits associated with Sportsnet, is Friedman. Wish they didn't control the NHL broadcast rights. TSN delivered a way better product with better, more knowledgeable people delivering it.
