I would have said Shultz for a bag of pucks but Hossa looks better.

In a keeper league, I'd move him for Trocheck. That being said, what is Mikkel Boedker doing as a free agent? Are GMs asleep in your league??

Boedker has always been top of the wire. He's been owned a few times, but not right now. We only have 3 add-drops per season, so people use them sparingly. Plus people consider playoffs and Arizona hasn't been a compelling playoff team. You think he's better in a keeper? His points per game has skyrocketed this year thanks to a high (unsustainable?) sh% from some insane PP time.

Hossa seems like a no-brainer considering you get playoffs too, although it doesn't look like you've got a very good playoff team.

Also, there are some rumors of Boedker getting moved by the deadline -- which would make him playoff-valuable. Just saying.... Could be a good, speculative add, especially considering his value during the season is also solid.

True enough. And I just looked at Hossa's stats -- whoa. Didn't realize how poorly his season had been.
I rescind my thoughts on Hossa. Ribeiro or Trocheck look like better options in a trade -- and both seem like no-brainers. The big takeaway here is that Schultz shouldn't be on your roster by day's end.

The more I consider this, I come with a new question -- is this one of the leagues where the top 9 are determined when they earn the spot (or do you choose your lineup daily/weekly)?

If putting a F in Schultz's spot leaves that F with Schultz's 4 points, then a youngster with future value like Trocheck is even more valuable since he probably won't get into your top 9 considering the gap he'd have to fill.

Lineups are chosen daily. Trocheck may or may not make my top 9 depending on how all my guys are playing.

I decided to drop Perron and pick up Boedker. Thanks for the prodding. Didn't know about those trade rumours so that's good I suppose, although I wonder how that will affect production if he loses his PP time (about half his points).

Havent devided on the Schultz deal yet. Might go Trocheck, or maybe Hossa and try to flip him for something else from a GM that had a better chance at winning this year (I'm middle of the pack).

I dont see Hossa getting much reaction from other GMs. He really hasn't put up great numbers this year so I doubt you will get many takers if you are thinking he looks attractive but you know your league better than we do.
