    I voted no, but I could still see it. I think in a couple years he'll be a perennial top 10 (maybe top 5) scorer. He will be behind guys like McDavid and Seguin for quite a while in addition to the regulars who will continue to challenge. I just see too many good players ahead of him right now. But injuries to others and a career year, sure, I can see it. But keep in mind guys like Stamkos and Giroux have yet to win an Art Ross and might never, meanwhile Ovechkin only has 1 in his 10 year career despite being one of the best players of all time. It's not an easy feat for anyone.

    Good point. To me, this shows that being THE BEST doesn't necessarily correlate with winning the Art Ross, so it doesn't matter how many guys are 'ahead' of him. You need to be a top 10-ish scorer and have everything align.

    Like most have said, I voted no but it's not out of the realm of possibilities. He's a very good offensive player but there are so many others out there that the odds are against him.

    The way he's finishing the season and considering hes missed more games than the other top scorers, and Colorado turning it around (remember how bad they were last year? Really really bad), he has to be the front runner.
