Duchene for Kadri + Gardiner? I'm probably not giving up as much as the Avs need...realistically what would the leafs need to give up?

I wouldn't mind seeing Duchene in Dallas, but being in Division makes a deal less likely. From the Stars standpoint, sure they're scoring like there's no tomorrow. But they also have a bit of a issue coming, albeit a good one, too many forwards deserving of a spot. Without Capgeek I don't know how workable it would be with the cap and Duchene is a center which Dallas is stacked with. That's why Spezza, Fiddler, and Eakin have been seeing time on the wings. Still that would bolster the secondary scoring as it would open up a whole raft of possibilities for line combos and help cover for the inevitable patches where Benn and Seguin aren't providing the lion's share of the offense.

Not sure who the Avs would want, but we do have plenty of pieces to potentially work out a deal. Could the Avs possibly be stupid enough to take Hemsky off our hands as part of the deal? Ah, dream on dreamer, dream on.

Not a chance I'd trade Beaulieu for Iginla. For Duchense maybe....
I'd like to see Eller and Tinordi or anyone of the youngens...like Hudon. for Duchesne
Duchense would excel playing with Galchenyuk.

I don't see any of those proposals for Duchene being even near the ball park.

I'm a Habs fan, and would love to get Duschene... BUT why on earth would Bergevin make a single change to this monster he has created. The Habs are playing lights out, and messing with the chemistry at this point cannot be good.

I'm aware of the more common spelling. I'm equally aware of how frequently it's been spelled correctly in this thread. Not terribly hard to take an extra 7 second to re-read what you've typed and get it correct.
