Halloween costume ideas

Hey guys, I know this may be last minute but I was wondering if you guys had any clever Halloween costume ideas. The geek in me figured that it would be a good idea to build an Optimus Prime costume about a month ago, but now that my party is only 3-days away and I've yet to begin making it, I'm thinking I may need a plan-B.

If you guys have any ideas or would like to share your costume ideas for this year, feel free to chime in

Just for kicks, this is what I intend(ed) on doing:



- White or grey thermal pants
- Cardboard boxes and Rubbermaid bins
- Spray paint
- Glue and Duck Tape
- Hockey gloves and helmet

A simple, creative costume I would have been doing if I wasn’t in a couples costume (ugh). Be the D-Bag who caught the ball in KC.

Blue sweater, baseball glove, baseball, glasses, and buy an Abe Lincoln beard and kinda cut it shorter. It’s ridiculously simple, and everyone will know who you are.
Plus it’s easy to go to a party in, nothing hinders eating or drinking really. And you can sit down easily

Hehe that's not a bad idea! I was also thinking about being mini-Bautista but I like the Lincoln beard idea!

GF is wear a Jack Daniels T, I’m wearing a Coke T, and I got my dog a green baby t-shirt that I wrote lime all over it. My aim was simplicity especially if we end up going to a bar, I rather not be dragging random things around. Dog will have to stay home sadly.

We were going to be Price is Right Contestants. I lost that debate on being them. Or I was going to be Bob Belcher and make her be Linda Belcher (Bob’s Burgers) but I was way too embarrassed when she tried her Linda voice. Couldn’t go out in public with her doing it all night.

My friend is being Edwin Encarnacion, and his GF is wearing a parrot costume which is good.

I made a rubik's cube last year. Took me a little more than an hour. Didn't turn or anything, but it was nice.

Was it fully completed or mixed tiles? Pretty neat either way. I think it's a good thing that the tiles didn't actually move; Imagine being at a party and having random people (mostly drunk guys) play with your pieces (pun inteded)!

It was scrambled but in a way that if it was a real cube, it would be possible to solve.

So how did the costumes turn out for everyone?

Um, I walked to the grocery store in a torrential downpour so I guess I was dressed as a soaking wet pedestrian.

I kept it simple, shredded some clothing, splashed it with blood, covered my face with gray makeup then splashed it too with blood, then hid amongst the trees on the edge of my yard and scared the Beejesus out of the kids who came to our door. Had at least a dozen good screams as I stumbled my zombie ass out of the darkness and after the poor unfortunate souls who dared cross the threshold of my house. (Insert evil laugh here)
