Khudobin didn't even play all that well the last game from what I've seen in the highlights. The only difference is that he won the game.

I think his thought process is to ride the goalie that the team played better for... Anaheim as a team wasn't doing well, so after finaly getting a win, he is going with the goalie the team played for.

That's the one thing I hate about BB. He's a great coach but he always makes weird goalie decisions

Like BB job is to coach for the wins. Not to play the best players. I get it. But it’s not this one instance, he’s done it his whole career. Khudobin has played 2 games and has given up 4 goals (and his first game he was pulled really quick). He has stopped 39/43 shots which isn’t even a good s%. Minny isn’t an offensive team, they are built to win low scoring.

100% do not get the idea to not let your start play at the beginning of the year. I wish he was fired so the coach would pick a goalie. If it was a 1A 1B idea that would even be better, there’s no reasoning behind his decisions right now

I didn't like Andersen for beyond this year so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they don't fully trust him. But he has had good numbers so far.

Actually, the team didn't play better with Khudobin in net. They won the last game because Dubnyk was weak, they barely made 22 shots. Andersen would have likely won that game too. They didn't win that game because the team "was playing for Khudobin".

Best possible result that Anaheim could have without Andersen in net for me. Didn’t play well, didn’t score, didn’t defend, and didn’t win.
