Owning Bruce Boudreau goalies is really never a good idea. He will mess with their heads, and yours, by making irrational decisions on who is starting from day to day. I suffered through his Caps days with the Varlamov/Neuvirth/Holtby circus and vowed not to participate anymore. Now here we are in Anaheim, and he has 3 viable goalies again with Freddy, Khudobin and Gibson.

That's true but he has allowed a soft goal each game so far. Maybe that's the reason, I don't know.

I was almost sure there was no more controversy with the Anaheim goalies this yr. I saw the trade for Khudobin, the high signing bonus 1-way contract for Gibson starting next yr, and a very good Andersen. I was almost sure he was a 60+starter. Now with the damn switching I don’t see how Andersen likes being there. The goalie situation in the NHL is slowing becoming like the RB in the NFL. All by committee and its fantasy suicide.

Andersen is a solid goalie, however, what teams are in need of a goalie? There’s so many right now it’s insane.

Owning Andersen and Rask is terrible.

Having owned Andersen last year under BB, I knew about this possibility. The main reason Andersen started so many games last year was because Gibson got injured and LaBarberra sucked big time. That's why I was against the popular opinion that Andersen is a tier 1 goalie (yes, still early and things can change, I realize that). I am happy I was able to turn him into Holtby via a series of trades even though it cost me a couple of top-end prospects.

Maybe Gibson doesn't get so many starts if the crossbar doesn't fall on Andersen's head......

I owned Andersen last yr without owning Gibson. So I knew how volatile the role is with BB, I just thought I was in the clear. Oh well, I still have confidence that by years end Andersen will have 55+ starts.
