Third Goalie Conundrum...am I screwed?? REP!

This is for another league I'm in (not my sig).

1yr, 15-team weighted-points league
W (40pts) | GA (-15pts) | SVS (2pts) | (SO (50pts) | OTL (20pts)

I have Steve Mason and Brian Elliot, but my third goalie is Andrew Hammond. Yes, not ideal, but the goalie rush during our draft started at 1st pick (Three goalies went before Ovi, 9 goalies went in 1st draft alone!!) and I managed Ovechkin 4th overall - was hard to resist. Anyways, the even remotely fantasy-relevant goalies left on the wire still are as follows:

Darcy Kuemper
Curtis McElhinney
James Reimer
Alex Stalock
Niklas Svedberg

Terrible options, I know, but would you suggest keeping Hammond over the guys above? I'm also trying to snatch Allen from the manager that has him but trading goalies in this league is next to impossible due to how heavily-weighted points are for them and because there are 15teams...

Guys, help me out, can I salvage this? Any inside scoops to backups who may have bigger roles? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and of course REPPPP!

Any chance you can throw Hammond on IR for the time being?

Overall I think Hammond is the right choice for your 3rd string goalie. If you can throw Hammond up on IR I would probably give Stalock a try and see how the goaltending shakes out in San Jose with him and Jones.

Hammond is ok in that situation because the starter in front row f him has a penchant for injury. McElhinny kinda of the same. Stalock interests me as I'm not convinced that Martin Jones has that starting gig locked down at all.

I can't, unfortunately. Listed as DTD on ESPN and isn't allowed to be on the IR spot in our league. Stalock also intrigues me a bit too.

For reference, here are my least "Valuable" skaters that I could potentially (and MAY be willing to) drop to make way for a 4th goalie. I don't really want to have to do that but I figured I'd throw these guys in the mix just in case (note: we count PIMs and SOG in our league):

Nick Bjugstad
Matt Moulson

If you're going to grab a 4th goalie I think Stalock is the best of that bunch. Martin Jones has never been a starter and will have his struggles, Stalock will get the most games out of that list I believe (barring an injury to a key starter). I hate carrying 4 goaltenders, especially with 1 on the IR but that might be necessary until Hammond is healthy. If your league counts PIMs, HITs and +/- I'd look to drop Moulson. He may have points but will be bad in all 3 of those categories.

Thought of that too, but the guy could even be in a worse position than me. He only has Anderson and Eddie Lack...yuck. I don't really have any assets that could steal him away from that team. The guy that has Jake Allen has Price and Ortio as well.

No GM is screwed on the first day of the season. Get off the ledge. Give up a forward. Find another goalie. Lose the "woe is me" attitude. You can have nice things too. LOL. Good luck in your hunt.
