Quality over quantity. You're in a 22 team league though..

I don't ''mind'' the return you got. There is some good pieces there but they are filled with question marks.

Depending on your lineup, I do not like this trade for you.

You gave the best player and the best goalie.
    I dont like it either.

You have to hope Honka will become a force and that Yakupov is emerging as a solid player pretty soon by playing with Mcdavid and Hall or you'll regret this move...

I don't think I would have done that deal if I were you but I don't hate it.

Goalie prospects are worth so little to me. You just never know how they pan out. Their road to the NHL is tough, and it takes a while for them to prove it. In Gibson's case, he's a good prospect but where does he go from here? Anaheim is built to win now and Andersen has proven he can handle the job. One of them will get traded and I'm not so sure it'll be Andersen, especially if he takes them to the cup finals which is entirely possible. They're a great team.

So Gibson for Markstrom and Husso. I would obviously prefer Gibson but it's splitting hairs. The Canucks dealt Lack just so Markstrom could play, and he still has all-star upside. The bigger part here is RNH for Yak, Kapanen, and Honka. I like all 3 of those players but you will lose that part for a while. Yak will recover but won't reach his upside for another couple years, if ever; and the other two are a year away from the NHL and another couple after that from potentially reaching their upside. That said, they're high certainty NHL'ers and I think they'll turn out to be really good players down the road.

So yeah.. not the worst trade and you probably won't regret it long term, but you probably will short term.

Great potential in what you got back but like everyone else, too many question marks for all of them for me to have the courage to give up RNH.

Yeah I am afraid I don`t like this deal for you either.

I almost always prefer to be on the quality side of any deal.

On the flip side if both Yak and Kap develop as many think they should in a couple of years you could come out on top.

I would not make this deal unless I was rebuilding and burning the roster down as both Nuge and Gibson have big time upside.

Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
