Re: When to pick a K/Def/TE - Draft
Standard drafts - K + D are the last two picks in a 10 team league. In deeper leagues, there is no harm reaching a few rounds earlier, though. Take a look at the scoring settings, as well. Some kickers can be worth a lot more than you think when field goals have varying values.
Regarding TE's, top guys like Gronk and Graham are arguably worth more than a similar scoring WR as there is only 1 TE spot. Graham takes a hit going to Seattle, though. Once those two are off the board early you can probably wait until the the 7th or later to go after guys like Kelce/Olson/Witten/Walker..a lot of drafts you'd see the TE run on these guys when teams are close to filling out their 2RBs, 3WRs and 1 QB. If you miss out on the second tier guys, just keep filling depth at RB/WR and wait to pick a third tier TE near the end of the draft.
