16-team Draft Audit

Recently finished a 16-tm salary cap draft - using AAV & cap of 83m - was curious how I did. 25 players (12F/6D/2G/5Bench) & 10 farm. Any insight would be great!

F: McDavid, PKane, Perry, Stone, Hoffman, JHayes, Neil, Gerbe, Skinner, Rinaldo, VRask, Pageau, MKarlsson
D: EKarlsson, Orpik, Bortuzzo, Markov, Sekera, Wiercioch, Connauton, Colin Miller
G: Lack, Ward, Ramo, MSmith
Farm: Anton Forsberg, Sam Brittain, Evan Cowley, Jordan Bininngton, Zane McIntyre, Jake DeBrusk, Kyle Connor, Ville Pokka, Stephen Johns, Mike Reilly

Areas of concern for me off the hop are:
A) Goaltending - I think I'll be middle of the pack towards the higher end for Saves but atrocious for the rest, but kind of addressed this by stocking the farm. Would be my #1 target, though
B) PKane - my team takes a massive hit if he's not around
C) PPP - Beyond a handful there's not a lot of PP guys on my team

Am I off base in my thinking that I have a well-rounded team with elite guys at their categories and filler for the rest? I think if McDavid is what 98% think he will be, I have a team that can finish top 3 over the next couple years, but would love some feedback.

Getting McDavid, PKane, Perry and Karlsson in a 16 team!? Unreal. Although I think your main window to win will be during McDavids ELC. Perry will slowly decline and once McD gets that next contract things will be interesting salary cap wise for you...

PKane was round 4, Perry (and Stone) were round 8! I ended up trading from my original spot (11th) to 1st and grabbed EK with another traded pick at 15th.

I agree on the 3-year window, this draft featured a LOT of early picks on goalies and prospects (Hellebuyck went 6th round) which put me in a more win-now mode.

Wow. Sounds like everyone really values youth. I would use that to your advantage and look to move some younger guys/prospects for a little older established talent and cap bargains. A lot of people overvalue youth and if it helps you solidify your goal to win over the next 3 years I'd consider some moves good luck!
