You traded Stone, Silfverberg, McJESUS, and Talbot AWAY for Burns and Halak? Am I reading this right?

LOL No, but just seeing McD scared me, and for a moment, I forgot about McDonagh, due to the panic mode my brain had entered thinking he traded McJesus away as PART of a package rather than FOR a package LOL

Well, i was able to trade up to the second pick in the FA draft. Plus i was able to retain my 3rd pick too. The trade ends up equalling:

Burns
Halak

for

Stone
Silfverberg
McDonagh
Talbot

I think i did well, i dunno. It doesn't matter really, i like gambling, and making trades is truly the most fun of being in a pool for me. That will change if i ever win money i'm sure, lol, maybe this move helps me get closer to that goal.

Unless you are certain to land Dubnyk, I can't see that you could afford to part with Halak.

EDIT. Scratch that, forgot about Talbot. Still a risky move though.

Yes, i did tade away Burns and Halak, but thats how i roll, i like gambles! No regrets.

I was able to trade Foligno and my last FA pick to get Rinne. At least now i have one confirmed, proven starter. Yay for me, lol!

So, at the end of my FA draft Burns, Halak, Foligno, and player x(pick 21 of 30) nets me Rinne, Mark Stone, McDonagh, Silfverberg, and Cam Talbot. Plus i was able to get Panarin with my other pick too.

I think I got some real good value for my three outgoing players.
