I say he gets .5ppg
His production depends on his linemates but he still has the skill to post 40pts with little-to-no help

He turns 26 soon but seems entrenched in the 40-50 point range. Nothing makes me think he will have another level of scoring, especially since he rarely plays a full season (although last year he did play 81 games) so I would not expect him to break 50 points.

I'm gonna hate projecting this one. Either put it all on the line and look like a genius and say 55 breakout? Or look stupid? Or play it safe and say 42 yet again. The types of situations I hate. Usually coming in low or conservative ends up being closer.

I think he's one of those guys you just avoid taking the gamble on all together.
If he busts out, then good for those who took the gamble. If he is the same ole Sam Gagner we've come to know and hate, then you are better off.
I'd much rather be the guy on the outside looking in on his career. The odds are in my favor that I won't be disappointed.
