I am a pretty hardcore gamer who always hated the Final Fantasy series. I always felt like I was reading a book, "oh no! It looks like we need to go rescue the princess!" Followed by "Press button A to go rescue the princess"...

However, I do remember watching my roommate play FF7 at the time and thinking to myself " this is pretty epic"...

Final Fantasy on the NES was classic. I loved the black magic wizard who reminded me of Orko from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. This is the ONLY FF I know...man, I am old.

Awesome game but too damn slow when you face a group of 9 enemies.
