Another season over, now what?
The night the Stanley Cup is awarded is ultimately bitter sweet. Love the playoffs, the intensity and the game. Love the hoisting of the Cup. But hate the fact that the season is over, and the hockey talk really starts to die down (more so after the draft). What do you guys do in the months between seasons to keep your mind off (or maybe on) our favorite sport? For me, I submerge myself in my keeper pool, and study the prospects, the risers, sleepers, and the guys who are gonna take a step down. It isn't the same, but it keeps my blooding flowing with a hint of ice in it.

Tons of soccer on this summer. Women's World Cup, Copa America an the U20 World Cup are on now. European U21 and the concacaf Gold Cup are coming up later on. Almost forgot about the Pan Am games too.

July 4th starts the Tour de France. I was told several years to give it a shot. Love watching the race.

Well sometime today Stanley Cup party pictures come out….then the pictures of what the players do with the cup for their day… then I just stare at the screen until my eyes explode.
Maybe I’ll go back to this thing called work. I’m here every day, might as well do something.
