    If you are interested in the human impact of World War II, and you are a data junkie, this short documentary is quite an amazing piece. It does a great job of creating a visual for the toll of the war on all sides.

    I saw this earlier today. Incredible video. I saw some backlash for accuracy and whatever but to me that's not the important part. I feel it correctly represents the insane scale of the war. Oh and the most costly battles don't get nearly enough coverage...

    I would agree. There will always be serious criticism when it comes to the history of WWII but the manner in which the information is presented is exceptional. The appreciation is really in the graphic presentation of the numbers.

    In fairness, I do understand to an extent why the Eastern Front does not get the coverage it deserves. Looking at the numbers tells me one thing: the death rate is off the charts. How the hell do you document that properly???
