6. computer viruses

8. people on the radio that scream with joy that they won a pair of tickets to _____
9. Gas prices and their price fluctuations
10. Radio stations that slap the badge "new" on their names even though they've been spinning the same tunes/same format for a year +

Heading into the dog days of summer. Just a thread where we can blow off a little steam, NOT hockey related or Dobberville related.

So what the hell irks you these days? Let the discussion begin. Can be anything under the sun.....driving, weather, bugs, telemarketers, wife or girlfriend, mother in law...bugs...bad service at restaurants....annoying co workers.....Bell...........the $ of beef, cheese and milk these days.

So have at it!!!!

For me:
1) SLOW drivers. absolutely hate people who drive 80km/h on busy two lane roads when the roads are in excellent condition. Why should I be forced to drive at your lame a@# speed.
2) People who don't use their signal lights and do the quick break and turn. Nearly rear end them every time.
3) Long lines anywhere....especially grocery stores.
4) People who hold up lines while using $.10 coupons.
5) people who litter from their cars, especially when the WHOLE McDonald's bag ends up on the side of the road.

...anywho, I could go on.....your turn.

I'm from Nova Scotia like Axeman, and am also irked by mosquitos and black flies. I am pretty sure I saw a mosquito carting away a baby the other day...

Hockey blackouts. Why can't I watch Calgary vs. Colorado? I live in NS and am not going to make it to the game. I would have thought that Sportsnet would have allowed us full access to games they showed, but no, we get to watch black screens during those times.

People who do not know they are stupid. Some people do know, and they will graciously ask for help or get assistance and normally come of as decent people. While others will play the "look at me I am so smart" game until it just becomes annoying.

The obvious ones of driving, cycling and lines.

But the biggest pet-peeves I have are:
-in the drive thru at tim hortons and the people in front of you order everything but a coffee in the store
-the use of Debit and credit cards now. If you don’t have $2 on you, do you really need that small frie
-people who freak out of the wrong change. I worked at McDs as a manager as a teenager and the amount of people who FREAKED out over 5cents was insane. Buddy if you can’t afford missing 5cents you shouldn’t be here
-parents who have 0 control over their child. This new age parenting has gotten kids so snobby and disrespectful I hate it. If I cried or I had a temper tantrum in a public place oh help me god when I was punished.
-people who are always late. When they say I’ll be there at 8, and you know that means 9. Just say 9 bud, we all know.
-passive aggressiveness.
-the C word that rhymes with punt. Fully hurts my ears
-When refs in beer league hockey have a vendetta against your team and call penalties against you more. If you don’t like me cool, but call this fair. Also when I’m going to the box and I’m swearing, it’s at myself, and the other player. I don’t need you hearing it and getting sad and have your feelings hurt over it. I had a ref actually tell me because he didn’t like how I yelled at my OWN TEAMMATE he gave me a penalty. I know this is one where the refs don’t always know, but you’re a complete prima donna or have a power boner.

1) when you're walking directly at someone, why is it still not standard that you both yield to the right? I've never understood the awkward dance when you meet in the middle.

The next time this happens look straight at that persons eyes and keep walking straight. I guarantee you they will move out of your way.
