Default Simon Gagne still looking for NHL work.

With all these Russians coming over to play in the NHL next year, I don't think there's a spot for ya Simon! I wish you luch though.

I can't see him making it through training camp and earning a spot.

With all the KHL players coming over to play in the NHL, there might be room in the KHL for Gagne.

And since he's older than 28 he won't be trapped over there if he does sign!

i think he could still get a 4th line role. He'd be better than an enforcer in actual playing skill, potentially good in the shootouts. I hope he lands somewhere!

I loved Simon as a player - great Flyer - but come on dude, time to face facts and hang up the blades.

Unless the team has no prospects whatsoever I'd think there's a better option available in the system that also offers some hope for the future.

He has never played a full 82 game season in his 15 yr career. I doubt that any team gives him anything to play in the NHL. Dude is made of glass and no team will take that chance unless he blows away teams in the preseason. He’ll have a better time getting back on the ice if he moves to Italy. At least he’d be making some money
