Does anyone have an excel version of cap geek before it closed they could forward me?
I have a dilemma where I am being told I am over the CAP. There is no way I made a move to put me $2.35 over the CAP
SO the Issue is Vesteeg's salary on CApgeek was $2.35 and I cant prove that as I cant access
Anyone have any suggestions?

from what I recall the panthers retained half the salary when they traded versteeg to the blackhawks. so it depends if your league takes into account cap hits that are modified by retained salary.

For what it's worth, Fantrax has him listed with a salary of 2.35M and a cap hit of 2.2M.

I am almost certain his true cap hit is north of 4 million.

I picked up Versteeg in my salary cap league and I am fairly certain his salary cap hit for this year is 2.2 M.

You're correct. According to the link pasted below, his true cap hit is 4.4 but the Panthers and Hawks share the hit, so 2.2M each.

If you click on the player's name, a pop-up window should appear with his stats, birthday, height, weight, etc. Below that, I see: "2014-15 Salary" and "2014-15 Cap Hit".

Just note that the cap hit is the cost to his current team and not his true salary/caphit. I can see where this can cause confusion in leagues that don't have commishes manually fixing these things in advance.

even if someone did, they aren't posting it here. exporting to excel from capgeek would have gotten you in legal trouble, they made it clear that you were not allowed to bulk copy information. their site was to be used as a quick reference guide.
