Better question to ask at this point might be how many Vezinas Dubnyk wins in Minny. I'm personally going to go with "all of the Vezinas".

Same! I was sitting 6th and after the "long" all star week, I'm back in 1st with Dubie sweeping the goalie cats

I like Dubnyk in the short term, but I predict neither is the #1 following the trade deadline.

Want to make a bet on that?

"Hey we have a young goalie whom we just acquired and who is killing it for us, a young back up with potential to someday be a starter, a 3rd veteran goalie who we can't trade and won't waive taking up a roster spot and a 4th NHL-calibre goalie who is also untradeable in our minor system. You know what we should do? Acquire another goalie, just in case" ... Don't see that happening.

I don't see this happening. In addition to Serge's points about how the Wild already have 4 NHLish calibre goalies: who are they going to go after who is better than what they have? The only pending UFAs who I see as maybe available are: Enroth, Scrivens, Emery, Nabokov, none of those is an upgrade. There was lots of hype about Niemi getting shipped and Stalock taking over but given the Sharks are in the middle of the playoff race and Stalock has not played as expected I don't see that happening.

Yep. Some posters like to throw out random guesses.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Dubie's going to run with it this year, and next year it will be between him and Kuemper for the #1.

Dubie does it again! 2nd shutout in 3 games. He's on the verge of stealing a second consecutive H2H for me... this guy is unstoppable right now.

Grats to those among us who were able to scoop him!

It's official: Dubnyk is a god. Minnesota playing lights-out.

7W in 9 starts since being acquired. 4SO. In the games he's won, lowest SV% he's had is .946.

They played him on both days of a B2B, so I'm not sure how much you can attribute that really bad loss to Detroit to him.
CLS loss is a fair shake though (when he let in 3 goals).

I'm so worried this is gonna fall apart, but if he keeps it up, he's gonna help win me a championship. He's becoming what I thought Keumper was going to be, a steal.

Before anyone gets too excited over Dubnyk, remember the start that Kuemper had this year (3 shutouts in 4 games). If that isn't enough to temper expectations going forward then think about Bryzgalov's performance when he was acquired last season (3 shutouts in 10 games). If that isn't enough then remember Harding's numbers before he went down to injury/illness last year (leading the league on GAA).

With that being said, Minnesota is looking like they are back on track as Colorado had less than half a dozen scoring chances tonight. When Minnesota is playing the way they can, they are the best defensive team in the NHL. They are playing like that once again so ride the Giraffe while you can.
