    Default #3 onwards comparisons

We all know McDavid and Eichel are almost certainly going to be elite studs. What I want to know is how would you compare the following guys to previous years drafts?

3 Crouse, Lawson LW Kingston OHL
5 Rantanen, Mikko RW TPS Turku FinE
7 Strome, Dylan C Erie OHL
8 Barzal, Mathew C Seattle WHL
9 Marner, Michell C London OHL
11 Zacha, Pavel C Sarnia OHL
    (rankings from current ISS report)

where would say Sam Reinhart or Leon Draisaitl slot in there?

I've read its quite a deep draft with regards to top end talent.. would love to hear some comparisons.
    Not THAT hairy, honest!

Crouse is very young. Watching him in WJC he reminds me of Saad with better stick handling.
Zacha is almost like a poor Barkov, I expect him to go back to juniors in 2015.
Haven't seen Marner but everything I read he sounds like a Pastrnak/Nylander/TJ type undersized and very skilled.
Strome is supposedly better than his brother according to some scouts.

I would rather have all these guys minus Barzal over Leon and Reinhart is a 2 way guy so depending on league settings determines where you rank him amongst these dudes.

I would take Marner and Strome over them so Reinhart and Draisaitl #3 and 4 on my list.

depends on what your league tracks, but i would probably rank them
    Reinhart
    Marner
    Strome
    Draisaitl
    Rantanen
    Zacha
    Crouse
    Barzal

maybe it's just me but i'm not as overly impressed with this year's class in comparison to previous years. outside of the top 3 players (mcdavid, eichel & hanafin) i'm still not convinced this years crop is significantly better than years past. reinhart and draisaitl seem much closer to having an impact fairly soon. marner has some very dynamic offensive skills, but i doubt he'll be able to crack an nhl team for at least another 2 years... i think d.strome will take a similar progression to the nhl as his brother too... so a few years. Crouse may have a chance to break in earlier than the rest, but haven't seen enough from him offensively to warrant a higher ranking...
