You probably won't find this one funny but I sure as hell do

This is why people think you are a troll who can't argue with people in a civil manner. I literally said in my comment that clearly the Habs are a much better team at the moment. I am talking about offense at the forward position.

I don't think Montreal's forward group is much more highly skilled offensively than Ottawa's.

    Tampa Bay's, however....

Pi never said he was a Habs homer. I was responding to him, amen I decided to talk about you and the other homer.

I agreed with tampa as a team, I'm just not buying these rookie or sophomore wonders just yet. They also have much different coaching styles. Run and gun in tampa.

This from the guy who led to the term being initially coined...and then proceeding to render it obsolete and insufficient

I mean we can just do a straight comparison to judge if you want?

    Top 6 as of today

    Filppula-Stamkos-Callahan
    Palat-Johnson-Kucherov

    and

    MacArthur-Turris-Chiasson
    Hoffman-Zibanejad-Ryan

    So

    Stamkos >>> Turris
    Filppula ~= MacArthur
    Callahan >> Chaisson
    Palat > Hoffman
Johnson > Zibanejad (at this point of their careers, who knows long term)
Kucherov < Ryan (probably, although Kuch is damn good)

Regardless, that still adds up to Tampa's top 6 being significantly better than Ottawa's. I'm not sure how this is much of a debate, and I'm not a Tampa homer or an Ottawa hater. I think it's pretty well documented I'm a Pens homer and a Philly hater lol.

Happens all the time. Next you'll tell me Kucherov and Johnson are better than Rick Nash
And Hoffman, Macarthur and Turris are proven studs???

None of these guys are top line guys on a good team

And youre way overrating Bobby Ryan, as most people do
Ottawa is not a good team
and these 4 guys are not "young"
This is their prime, and theyre still being outplayed by all 4 of the tampa players were talking about
    Even Hoffman is almost 26
I cant even believe were talking about Hoffman and Macarthur as legit comparables!

Macarthur is past his prime and at his absolute best he was nothing more than a decent 2nd line winger

Hes now a 3rd line guy!

Youre comparing Palat and Ryan on their 2 way game???
and like I said, even palats offence is better!

Real life AND fantasy, Palat IS more valuable than Ryan

He’s now on pace for 59pts (20goals). In his last 10 games he’s averaging a 66pt season. The thing missing this season is those multi-point games, if he had even 6 multi-point games this season he’d be on pace for a minimum of 70pts. 6pts in 46games isn’t much, especially for someone who is learning a Leadership role from out of no-where. Last yr Spezza was the capt, yr before was Alfy, I don’t think Karlsson was expecting to be a leader anytime soon.
