    Played 3:35 and got taken out by Stoner. No further info that I can find at the moment.

    Sharks coach Todd McLellan downplayed the undisclosed injury Joe Thornton sustained on Wednesday.
    "Jumbo is fine. He'll be ok. He played three minutes and still found a way to get on the scoresheet, which is a credit to him," McLellan said. "After that, the way the group responded, there was a lot of juggling going on at the bench and everybody was alert and ready to go. We won as a team tonight." When asked if Thornton would play on Saturday though, McLellan said he wasn't sure because he hadn't talked to the trainers yet. All the same, McLellan went on to predict that Thornton won't be out for long.

    He has been put on injured reserve now as per TSN
