Sounds like he's playing tonight, actually. He'll likely be playing through some pain from what I've been hearing, so I'm not sure how effective he'll be to start.

Still a multi-cat beast. Scoring up to his potential would put him in the top 5 in some formats.

He played well but as usual couldn't close the deal on any of his scoring chances. I'm glad I don't own him in any of my leagues anymore, I think his lack of finish and bandaid boy status has officially rendered him a bust.

I think he's still got time. Look at Okposo -- took a bit longer than folks thought, had some injuries, needed a C to play with...and then bingo!
I wouldn't buy assuming he'll evolve to a scorer, but one of these years I still think he'll come back to life.

haha, fair enough...to clarify though, I mean 'bust' only in so far as to say that he never meets his lofty power forwards expectations. For example, a lot of people (Dobber included) have him penciled in as a Corey Perry -lite type of player, a guy who will post 70-80 pts consistently and rack up the secondary stats too (lots of Hits, PIMs in particular). I think he lacks the touch to put up pts like that and the fact that he misses 10-20 games every single year he will continue to disappoint.

I'm admittedly in a weird format, but he is at or near a point-per-game in our league due to his enormous PIM totals.
