2014 World Junior Championship Pool

Two things stand out re my roster. The first being the most obvious - effed up a goalie selection. I purposefully set out for Demko + a SWE goalie (I always have had a thing for them...dunno). I musta went solely by my THN profile which would have predated the injury to Johansson. I dunno but somehow I misssed it. Pisser.

The other thing I take away for next year is to spread my forwards across more teams. I had too many invested in just two countries. Anything can happen in these brief tournies - hot streak here/ cold streak there.

I will say I wasn't impressed with the USA, and i still blame coaching for their lack of discipline/focus.

I do love this contest and will be back next year (glutton for punishment). Big thanks to Reeveta and Nights! You guys rock.

It was McDavid (1g) against Domi (2g, 1a) for the most part. Provorov is the only other player playing in this game that you own that he doesn't.

Well, no goals in the 3rd, so no changes to the standings compared to my previous post.
