As promised, my "make up" mailbag. I'm around today, schedule seems to be easier, no pregnant sister-in-law to go into labor and give me her kids to watch

Would you trade Pavelec for Lehner and another small piece (Brodin right now). 18 team keeper league with ridiculously deep rosters.

    Welcome to the forum!

It would depend on my roster. If Pavelec is my No.4 starter I would do that. If he was my No.2 starter I would not do that. No.3...well that would be tough, I'd see what extra I could squeeze

I have the Bruins Goaler tandem, am I better off sacrificing a spot for Bryz and adding Pickard, Darling or Khudobin?

Thanks! With so many teams he's my number 2 right now with Howard as my lead. A few teams don't even have a second this year due to offseason expansion. I'll hold on to him. Thanks again!

    Trying something different here:
Steve Moses,25 undrafted college grad has 38 points in 35 games in the KHL playing for Jokerit and plans to join the NHL next season. With the recent amount of successful players from the KHL coming over to the NHL. What kind of impact could the guy bring to a NHL team next season?

I have been less than impressed with Jumbo Joe Thornton this year. I would feel comfortable moving him, but I'm not really sure how to gauge his value. The thing I like most about Joe is how consistent he is both on the score sheet (by the end of the year) and with the fact that he has only missed 3 games in the past 9 seasons. I know he's getting older, but would you consider to be equal value for Thornton at this point?

For the long term, how would you rank these for a keeper league (using the stats in my signature)?

    Forwards:
    Teravainen
    Kucherov
    Granlund(Min)
    Scheifele

    Defensemen:
    Trouba
    OEL
    Klingberg
    Mcdonagh

    Thx!

Hey Dobbs. My team is in sig. I recently picked up Hudler in FA. Another team has asked me for Stepan, Hudler and maybe a young piece (Schultz) for Giordano.
Do you believe in Giordano? Is he the new 60+?

Krejci's owner can't even dress 9 healthy forwards.
He's willing to trade him for a healthy guy.
He asks me to list the players (fowards) I'm willing to send.
From my team in sig, wich forwards would you list as tradable for an injured Krejci?
I would say EKane, Plekanec, McArthur. Do you agree with that? Add? Remove?
Do you have faith he will be relevant when he comes back?
How long would you bet before his return?
    Thanks.

Muzzin was on a mini-tear for awhile there, was that just a product of Martinez being out or a sign of things to come? Is he a 40 pt d-man this season?

I think you're suggesting dropping Svedberg and picking up one of those four guys? I don't think you'd be any further ahead. If you mean lose a skater spot to add a goalie, yes you probably should. I would grab Pickard.

How do you see his production for the remainder of the season?
What line do you think he ends up staying on for the rest of the year?
