Tough break for sure. You have to admire his grit to keep fighting and digging to be on ice as much as he can.
Related to MS, he could be sidelined for awhile. Another tough break

Josh Harding left Saturday’s game after two periods due to dehydration.
It was so serious, he was taken to the hospital and remained hospitalized until he was released late Sunday. Multiple sources say this is related to his multiple sclerosis. Harding is listed day-to-day with dehydration, but this will likely be one of those indefinite day-to-day’s. It’s very unlikely he will play another game for Iowa until this is figured out.
Iowa has recalled Johan Gustafsson from ECHL Alaska to back up John Curry tonight in Charlotte and the Wild was making arrangements on getting Harding back to Minnesota.
So, wish Harding well.
From a Wild perspective, Harding is out of the picture for the time being, meaning Darcy Kuemper and Backstrom are the two goalies … period.

Your beer mug isn't half-empty, your just half-way to the next refill.....
Strange.. MS isn't really related to dehydration.

Too bad. Here is a guy fighting to get his career back on track against almost impossible odds, and nothing seems to go his way. Shite-y!

Maybe time to rethink his career. I admire his fortitude, but there comes a time. I'm sure he'd be an interesting personality on tv... I mean if Brad May can get a job talking.....

Oh Brad May. Stumbling and bumbling his way through the most basic of segments. Probably one of the crappiest tv personalities I've ever seen.
And that sucks about Harding. Horrible news. I can't imagine how much it must suck to have your career in jeopardy because of something outside of your control like this

So true. Can you imagine how that kicking the wall must torment him when he lies awake in the middle of the night. That incident is probably why I feel the worst for him. The MS is out of his control and he is tackling that terrible luck head on but to think the one mistake that may end his career was entirely avoidable has got to weigh on him.
My guess is that the dehydration come from side effects of the medication he's on for MS.
I would imagine that a normal person that doesn't participate in athletic activity would have to be on some decent doses...and the rigorous schedule and stress of hockey probably induces much higher dosages.
I believe dehydration is a pretty common side effect of a LOT of various medications.
