Herron, Blount, Tre Mason could all be on the WW. Tre Mason is against a surprisingly good Redskins run defence tho. I don’t think SD run D is that good (could be wrong) so Blount could be a good hailmary player. He could get some redzone touches. And he looked good vs GB and broke out for some vintage Blount (when on NE) runs. Herron vs Cleveland is a decent match up. With Gordon tho this could be a very VERY heavy passing game by both teams. If it’s a PPR, Herron would be a good WW add.

PS. Roddy could be out. I’d look into that before locking him in to a starting position. He may play, but limited snap count.
    12 Team, H2H, Keep 6 (in Bold)
G, A, Pts, PPP, FW, SOG, Hits, Blocks
W, Saves, S%, GAA, Game Started
    2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 1Util, 2G, 5BN, 2IR, 1IR+, 1NA

    C: Horvat, Trocheck
LW: J. Robertson, Byfield (C), Guenther
RW: Pavelski (C), Giroux (C), Svechnikov (LW)
D: Fox, Makar, Bouchard, Morrissey, Gudas
    Util: Meier (LW, RW)
    G: Oettinger, Georgiev, Samsonov, Woll

i'm still learning football, but i thought the one thing i learned is it's risky to play a wr like allen against new england def. am i wrong?

i forgot about roddy, i thought he was only going to miss last week. i'll keep an eye on him. all of the other options you listed are already gone. my wire pickings are pretty bad. i think it's better just to grab defenses so others can't stream.

I mean. I personally wouldn't want to bench a #1 receiver seeing 10+ targets a game against anyone, especially not in a PPR league, where catches can be as valuable as yards. But that's just me.

Risky plays are needed in playoffs. With football, 1 touchdown in a PPR league is 7pts, then plus the yards. 1 pass could swing 9pts. A good tip would be trying to find out who Revis will generally line up against, if it is Allen, I wouldn’t play Allen.

With Roddy’s age, and where they are now standings wise (out), they may not rush him. He’s got like 1-2 more yrs left, so they may try and prolong it.

like i said i'm still learning about football, i've probably watched a total of 4 games my whole life and that was this year trying to learn about it. so when i asked the question about allen, i was interested in learning more about do's and don'ts of fantasy football, if that even is a real thing. i hope i didn't offend you in any way.

thanks for the info on roddy.

on another note, is football the same as hockey during the end of season where teams become more defense oriented, resting stars, and games are usually lower scoring than earlier in season? thanks again everyone.

I think I would run Landry with Dez and Gordon at WR myself. who knows if White plays and what condition he will be in if he does play. then I would move Keenan Allen to FLEX.

At RB I think I would roll with Oliver. he has big downside but against NE I expect Rivers to be throwing from behind and that could mean for some good junk points by Oliver. and your options are thin.

That's who I like. Just got a feeling about Olsen in your Flex spot but I get that's kinda risky

olsen is in the te position, flex was between landry, allen, wayne, or white.

waivers ended and i got jonathan stewart @ no for west and minnesota dst vs nyj

would anyone start stewart @ no over thomas vs car? what about minnesota vs nyj over seattle @ phi?

    thanks

Being it is a PPR I would go with Thomas. I think he has less downside. plus, everytime we start thinking 1 RB is gonna do it in Carolina the other 1 does well.
