    So the other GM finally got back to me with the third player he wants and it is William Nylander. Keep in mind that our pool is a major keeper. You keep 29 of your 30 players so having good prospects is very important. You can't just grab another Gaudreau or Nylander off the waiver. Once the blue chip prospects are gone, they're gone.

    So, is this deal still a slam dunk? Gaudreau, Nyquist, and Nylander for Giroux?

    Seriously. How have you not already accepted this deal and laughed manically as you relish in the fact that you have just acquired a top 5-10 player for for years to come while giving up nothing more than hopes and dreams that may never be more than mediocre fantasy assets let alone come close to top 5-10 territory?

    Yes I would still do the deal. Giroux is worth it.

    Gotta pay to win sometimes and Giroux will make you better now, and for a couple more years before Nylander and Gaudreau become significant contributors.
