Own Varlamov - Pickard or Aittokallio (or Berra!)?
So I've put Varly on the IR slot. I don't need any Avalanche goalie for the coming week and it seems as though Varlamov will be back by the end of his three game IR sit. But just in case, I want to sub in one of Pickard or Aittokallio. This is just in case Varlamov is hurt worse than they're saying and ends up sitting for longer. I know Pickard is getting the starts right now but I feel like if it ends up being long term, it's going to be Aittokallio that they go with.
Although now that I think of it, it could end up being Berra if he's not hurt bad too.
And with all this uncertainty, perhaps I should just avoid burning my 9 out of 12 waiver priority too.

Don't worry about it, keep your waiver spot for someone who can actually help you. Roll with Lundqvist for the next week or whatever, maybe spot start one of your Buffalo guys if the spot is there. You'll be ok without Varly for a bit.
