Yak may be a 70 point player some day, but Kane is a multicat stud right now.

I like Kane in any format. He only had 41 points last year but that was in 63 games. Both players have issues along with sick upside. Give me the one that offers the better dowside (Kane).

It's a safe assumption. However it was a very open ended question so I gave two answers in case anyone else happened to be having a similar dilemma

Has everyone just given up on Yakupov then?

I mean he has 55 points in 111 games, that's better than Ryan Johansen's first two years.

I just feel like a surprising number of people have given up on a guy at 20 years old.

If someone is actually offering you Kane for Crapupov, take it and run and do your happy dance later. In your multi-cat format Yakupov is absolutely awful, and IMO will not amount to much in the near future, if ever. Kane all the way.

Agreed...and I never get tired of Glatt's crapupov references and terms of endearment.

Crapupov (LOL) is turning out to be much less of a shooter than I expected. So Kaner basically kills him in Hits, SOG, PIMs right off the bat. Points and +/- may be a crap shoot but i'll take the guy who's already got 3 categories in the bag!
