If the kids can hold it together, and the Jays can limit their injuries, I think they have a legit shot at a very wide open AL East this year. Of course, I have thought that the past couple seasons too.

It was a fun game to watch. I know Travis isn't available yet in my Yahoo league....though I'm sure he will be soon. I have the 2nd waiver wire pick up....may just see what I can do.

I agree but he lacked command a little today. In particular, that backdoor slider he threw to McCann (I believe?) was supposed to be down and in. The young guns looked good today but we'll have to wait and see how everything shakes out when the league catches up.

Great win for the Jays though!

What a sick start to Travis' career.

Now please, don't pull an Arencibia.

Don't worry... I wasn't at the game yesterday. I was at JPA's debut and clearly I jinxed him (because it would NEVER be his fault... must've been mine or the media's). Though I saw Stroman's debut as well... awkward. Maybe there is something to this.

As I think about it more, I also saw Norris' debut. So he's next? Trade him now everyone.

And to think some big bats did nothing that game. Donaldson 0/4, and Bautista was like 0/5.

I am going to assume Martin is catching Dickey today? That should be interesting. BTW his throw to pick off the runner going to steal 3rd was nice. Nice catch by Donaldson and a very quick catch and throw by Martin. Navarro and Lawrie were really good at 3rd catching stealers, but very nice to see the 2 new guys do the same thing.

Yes Martin will catch Dickey today (if played. Hearing some rain over there). I hope he does well because this team can not have Thole occupying a roster spot.
