Tampa - I've been hurt too many times by them. It's like the Leafs vs Boston lol
Seattle - It would be nice to face them in Toronto as Robbie Ray likely won't be able to pitch
Cleveland - I feel like their pitching streak is more opponents than them. Bieber is good now that they've relaxed the sticky stuff enforcement, but they'll be missing Karinchak for Toronto games. But ya that's a good overall pitching staff with a dog as a closer (Clase).

Stats wise, Tampa is prolly the "best to face", but I prefer Cleveland over Seattle but if you can say Ray won't be pitching I can be swayed.

Pick your poison and I hate doing that, always ends up bad (as a Leaf fan).

Nice doubleheader sweep in Baltimore today. Enjoyed the games, although the rain, especially for game 2, wasn't great.

Wished we could've seen a 4 HR game, but it was a lot of fun. Saw many Jays fans from all over Canada, and one other from the US (Buffalo area).

Stadium insights: Boog's BBQ (both pork & turkey sandwiches) was good, but the baked beans seemed just like Campbell's dumped from a can. I wouldn't get them again. We didn't try the beef, as we stopped at Chaps Pit Beef on the way down, and it was far better - but I knew it was Baltimore's best Pit Beef.

Sightlines all over the top deck were good. The view from the Eutaw St pavilion was fine, but you needed to be up close to the rail.

Beverage options were better at the "General Store" locations that sold canned/bottled beverages. Big water bottle was a better value.

Being able to take 1 bottled drink plus a small amount of snacks in per person was a benefit. If you have cargo shorts, you could totally get away with more.

We stopped in Aberdeen to see the IronBirds play, and that stadium was very nice. They allowed you to bring in a water bottle, and by that I mean a Yeti type thing. You could go in & out, so no issues forgetting something.

Crappy about the weather for you, but glad they got the wins, and they were fun games for Jays fans.

Toronto can put some of the final nails in Baltimore's coffin if they get the next 2 wins.

As for the playoff odds update:
    Yankees - 99%
    Rays - 93.1%
    Jays - 85.9%
    Orioles - 20.9%
    Guardians - 50.3%
    Twins - 26.8%
    CWS - 24.0%
    Mariners - 98.8%

    To win the Division:
    Yankees - 94.7%
    Rays - 3.2%
    Jays - 2.1%

Going to be quite the finish. Especially with a ton of games vs Tampa.

Sept 12-15 - 5 game series (doubleheader in there)
    Sept 22-25 - 4 game series

It's been a beautiful thing. Their bullpen has been in shambles and they're getting those timely homers for random bench guys any more.

....they're just getting 1 per game for Judge.

I should've mentioned that the Orioles grounds crew did a great job with field dealing with the elements. My SO & I were literally impressed by them. A long time ago, I did field maintenance for city playgrounds and ballfields. Technically one could say I did that professionally, int hat I was paid, but it wasn't at any high level.

You knew the Jays were going to lose it at the ump after how much the media was pushing it. If the media's about it, you can bet the players know who's behind the plate.

Toronto gets a win off the back of a huge game from Manoah. However they slip a game further behind after the Yankees winning twice yesterday. But they really put the Orioles in a hard place after that series.

Toronto just can't separate themselves from the Rays and Seattle though. All 3 are 8-2 in their last 10 games. Here's the Jays final games of the season:
    @Texas (3)
    vs TBR (5)
    vs BAL (3)
    @ PHI (2)
    @ TBR (4)
    vs NYY (3)
    vs BOS (3)
    @ BAL (3)

So 6 games vs Baltimore and 9 games vs TBR and 3 games vs NYY. Huge final 4 weeks.
