Lines shift because of money.

Like the Yankees and Cowboys typically won't have relative good odds at winning the championship because the fanbase is more likely to bet on them.

And this shift was people seeing +1900 odds, and seeing the team perform so they put money on it. The line shifted that much after he went 0/4. The line should have adjusted a couple of nights ago, just my thought.

It's weird too because Wheeler of the Phillies is 3rd in WAR and no one is talking about him until very recently in the NL.

He's a Cy Young candidate, but pitchers rarely win MVP. Phillies have flown under the radar - honestly, Philly is seen often as not a major market team in MLB & NBA, which is utterly bizarre.

Ya I just did some "bet hedging" where if Ray and Burnes win the Cy Youngs I win, if Cole/Scherzer win I just don't lose money.

On the site I use, Vlad is at +750 now.
