reality check, tough pill to swallow, but you can learn from it especially how they finished the series. However, TERRIBLY missed opportunity

Hopefully they take 2 in Washington and can make it through without any pitchers getting injured while batting.

Manoah will 100% try too hard on an AB today and will get told to settle down. Either on a swing, or running.

Frustrating start. We can only say they need to win these games so many times. And it wasn't even Soto.....geez.

Just keep bringing on the bad news...

The Blue Jays placed Manoah on the bereavement list Wednesday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Per MLB rules, a player must remain on the bereavement list for 3-to-7 days, but it's unclear if Manoah will require more than the minimum amount of time away from the team to tend to the personal matter. If Manoah rejoins Toronto by the start of next week, he would remain on track to make his next start Monday against the White Sox. After posting a 1.53 ERA over a stretch of six consecutive starts, Manoah faltered in Tuesday's 12-6 loss to the Nationals, serving up seven runs (six earned) on six hits and one walk while working a career-low three innings.

Not going to lie, didn't realize the team was still 4games back of the wildcard. But wow, that's a tough thing to get into right now with BSox, Yankees, Oakland, and Seattle all pushing for 2 spots
