Early on, the SP was sketchy and the bullpen was saving their bacon. Now with the bullpen issues, the entire pitching staff is exposed and it's showing.

Montoya has mismanaged the BP this whole yr.

He mismanages his starting rotation by not allowing them to go deep into games, which causes him to go to the bullpen too early, too often. He's been like this since he's got there. His greatest flaw as a manager in my opinion.

Ya I'm kinda lumping in the BP mismanagement into the starting rotation.
The Jays starting rotation right now is a Berrios level of SP away from being solid. But I don't think it matters if they acquire another SP with how Montoya is managing the pitching staff.
