The Jays don't determine their schedule; MLB does that. The Jays can make special requests (ie Canada Day) and they are usually granted but other then that, the dates fall where they are told.

That's kinda what I was getting at.. The MLB doesn't care about the Jays whatsoever!! The Jays have NEVER been featured on Sunday Night Baseball, not even once..

It seemed like when the Jays were starting the week with a home series of a long weekend, the first game always seemed to be on the afternoon of the holiday Monday. At least thats what I remember. I mean, why not just play Tuesday's game on Monday? lol What's the difference? I would guarantee you would get more fans.

I thought we were gonna see Giles punch himself in the face again yesterday. Hell of an implosion. Especially after his pitches looked so good against Leon.

Jays are 50/50 on trading Stroman this winter. Makes sense.

Over the last 1-2yrs I've grown to dislike Stroman as a person really. Not like he's doing anything terrible, or any legal issues. But He seems very focused on his HDMH brand, and there's nothing bad about that, but he's promoting himself and not the team. Which to me means he'll never put the team ahead of his own personal gain which means $$$$$$ come FA time.

Again, I can't be mad at a person for maximizing their self-worth in sports, but he's just rubbing me the wrong way personally. I guess I'm saying he's not my cup of tea. So if he's not going to be cheap come FA, he's 27yrs old and has 2 yrs after this season of team control before FA, trade him and get a sick return.

If I had to guess I'd think the team will go in a different direction just for the sake of a change of pace. Gibby was the exact type of guy you wanted to manage the team that they had from like 2012-2016...but considering they're going through a rebuild/retool process they might want someone fresh.

Nope, they'll b moving in an entirely new direction. I can see a former player coming in to coach - similar to Joe Girardi - Aaron Boone

Any thoughts on who's out there with coaching experience who's a former Jays player? If your team is rebuilding, I dont see bringing in an inexperienced Manager.

Jays can't trade draft picks butch.. If they could Anthopolous would have traded our next 10 already!!
