But as I said in the thread when he got signed, it's hard to guage his Pittsburgh stats because pitching in the NL is a lot different compared to pitching in the AL East.

Im not saying the numbers aren't good, I just find them a tad deceiving.

At the end of the day, I hope he continues this pace.

Oh I’m not arguing his stats are inflated (deflated? Lets just go with over performing), but he’s goes out there like he owns the mound.

I was hoping for a 11-9 style record, maybe 12-7. 4-0…nice start to get there.

Great time for the bats to start coming alive. Happ also looked real good, which was aided by a big lead and some sweet Defense.

Tough series coming up against the Dodgers, interested and excited to see the Japanese rookie Maeda tonight and then Kershaw on Sunday. I don't watch hardy any NL games so want to see how they do against an AL lineup.

I've been impressed with Happ this season. He providing quality starts when he hits the mound. Good to see the bats finally come to life. Would have been nice to see the boys get the sweep here but 3/4 ain't anything to shake a stick at. Hopefully they can extrapolate this into a nice stretch to roll through May.

Maeda vs Stroman, Kershaw vs Dickey, and Stripling vs Estrada is the dodgers rotation for this series. Kershaw got pushed up.

I hope the Jays can smack around Kershaw tomorrow, I'm not holding my breath though.. But I can see Dickey getting lit up, we are going to need a boat load of runs to win!!

Kershaw can't be perfect the whole season right? The lineup seems to be heating up just at the right time to do it too. On paper though, with Dickey there, this will be a tough game to win.

I own Kershaw in my work money pool so I cheer for him when money's involved. Go Clayton! LOL!

In that case, lets have the Jays get struck out 20 times over 8 innings, before Kershaw leaves the game, and they put up an 8 spot in the ninth inning, making up for the 6 runs Dickey gave up over the first four innings. That work for everyone?

The win is important too, but I dont hate your theory.

Haha, I had thought about that too, but the Jays need it more than Kershaw does!

Yup. Wouldn't they just be better off letting him go and cutting their losses with this guy?

The Jays needed it more, but Kershaw deserved it. 10 Ks over 7 innings only allowing two runs. That's why he's the best in the game.

At least Axe got his W from Kershaw.

After a quality start? I mean c'mon, he gave up two earned runs, and had a WHIP of 1.0 today. While I agree he's going downhill, he's still a major league starter. Move him down to the 4 spot, avoid pitching him under a closed dome, and for the love of God, get someone other than Thole behind the plate. 6 passed balls in 9 starts is absolutely horrendous.
