I am glad that Markakis decided to come back and play! Walk of homer against the Jays!

Pearson implosion ongoing right now. What a disaster start to the season for the Jays.

He got out of the inning with only 3ER. If he can bounce back well then we'll know he's for real

A lot of crazy bits to unpack from that game. Terrible innings one and three from Pearson. The homer party for the Jays. Marlins actually winning. Etc.

Maybe this is the game that awakens the Jays potential offensive power.

I wish it would awaken their pitching to do better.

Honestly the pitching hasn't been any worse than I expected.

Pearson is young, these games happen. Ryu, wasn't expecting amazing out of the gate (new league, new country, not a stable start league wise), BP was always subpar with Giles, without Giles Romano has stepped up huge.

Yamaguchi blew the games he was given. Completely different look to the team if Romano was in those spots. This is still a 500 team though.

Also their starters are Ryu, Shoemaker, Roark, Anderson, Pearson. Not the deepest starting rotation ever lol. Borucki also has been solid over his 5IP, he should be getting more soon.

Bo Bichette could be out for a month.

Told medical staff his knee was kind of hurting, they did an MRI on it and found out the "knee sprain" was worse than they feared.

Terrible news. He was continuing the breakout.

Time for Vlad and Biggio to step up.

Bichette got a 2nd opinion. Not as bad as they thought. Grade 1 strain of the LCL, no long lasting concern, just rest to rehab it. TBJ are making a rehab plan for him now.

Jays medical staff at it again.

To be honest, I thought he needed to be sent down. The kid has electric stuff but needs more time to learn the importance of control. He doesn't have great control yet.
