Lineup isn't out yet but the difference between healthy Jays lineup vs what they got now is eyepopping

Biggio(3B), Semien(2B), Bo(SS), Vlad(1B), Springer(CF), Teoscar(LF/DH), Gurriel(DH/LF), Grichuck(RF), Jansen/Kirk (C). And Tellez can be DH

Semien, Bo, Vlad, Grichuck, Tellez, Kirk, Panik, Davis, Palacios

Like, what a difference between healthy and not healthy right now. Biggio, Springer, and Teoscar out is such a hit. Averaging just 3.57runs/game over the last 7, but the pitching has been so good especially with Romano and Merryweather out.

Pearson is throwing live BP today. Sounds like he's only a couple of weeks away from joining the Jays, it's just a matter of getting into game shape right now.

Merryweather will not come off IL once eligible, which isn't a shock.

I do think Romano is close to returning. But I can't say for sure where I heard that.

One of the things the Jays wanted to do this offseason was improve their overall defense. So far this season, I'm not sure that's working.

They have a 3rd baseman playing 1st base. A SS playing 2nd base. A 2nd baseman playing 3rd base and a SS playing SS, but one none to have difficulty with his D. I can't understand what the issue is with their infield defense.

Man has Vlad grown into that swing.

2 yrs ago when he came to the majors they changed his swing to be more of an up swing to get the ball out of parks more and as we saw, it really messed him up. This yr tho, he has destroyed it. That 3rd HR he was facing a new pitcher and he took 2 pitches and both times I could just see the wheels turning in his head. Guys finally come into the hype...and he's only 22 lol.

He's the same age as the Seattle rookie Kelenic lol. I am just floored at his age all the time. Jays need to lock his butt up right now.

George Springer WILL be in the lineup tonight according to SN reporter Ben Wagner!

Will be in the lineup either DH or CF according to Ben Wagner. I will say, he does say "Lead to believe" which isn't certain.

Pearson throwing simulated games I think too. Early to Mid May is his return timeline.

I am really curious where Springer hits. Jays also play tonight, then are off tmo, then play Friday. I'm surprised he isn't held out tonight to get 2 extra days of rest. Unless they want to see how he reacts tmo after a game tonight.
