This is a huge blow to the team, as their set up man is....Swanson (dealing with forearm tightness and had an MRI) and Garcia...

Romano is battling right-elbow inflammation and will have an anti-inflammatory injection. His MRI came back clean, Schneider said.

Sounds like he'll just skip a day or two from throwing, which tends to happen all through the year so I don't think it's a big worry. But man, the little BP depth is already getting dinged.

How the heck did they think this offense is acceptable. It's worse than last year. Miles worse than 2 years ago and before that.

I actually can't figure out what the management team was thinking. Is it that players just don't want to come to Toronto? Or does management just want to trade Vlad or Bo (or both).

It's pretty disheartening and I hope fans stop showing up. Yes I know it's one week but cmon, Varsho, Clement, Schneider, Biggio, Kiermaier are basically bench players (or worse) on a competitive team.

Jays look like they'll be sellers at the deadline.
IKF looks like a dumb signing when Babe Schneider is already pushing him out.
