I was referring Roark's future with the team's starting rotation and if he starts his next game, I think once one of them are back, he's done. Stripling was originally the guy who'd go back to the BP and become a long reliever, but I think it's now Roark.

    Missing a cog still.

I'm still questionable about the "high octane" offense people were talking about. I was always thinking the offense would be annoying. They should be getting on base a lot more and putting pressure on the pitchers. I'm seeing the pressure and a lot of 3-2 counts just ends in a K. It's still early, and I'm sure this spring training wasn't nearly enough to gear people up so I'm liking the 3-2 counts I see, just not the result after the next pitch.

It'll come, especially with Springer who should be batting 1st or 2nd. Seriously the order of:
Spring, Biggio, Bo, Teoscar, Valddy, Semien in some order is 2 innings of hard outs. Then Tellez, Grichuk, Gurriel as the 7/8 guys, it'll be a hard team to string outs together once it's all together. But this offense is not Edwin/JB/Donaldson style offense, def less power (or HR or bust swings). Remember those guys were vets too who were confident to go down 0-2 with HR cuts. These guys just aren't there yet.

I'm still freaking FLOORED when I hear Vladdy is 22.

Roark to transition to the BP as a long reliever.

That just made this postponement all the better.

I'm not surprised. I didn't expect them to let him start again. Not sure I'm any more comfortable with him coming out of the pen as a long reliever either. That usually means the starter comes out early due to getting tuned. Then they are going to use a previous starter who got moved to the bullpen because he couldn't stop from getting tuned as well.

Sounds like a recipe for success

So I guess it'll be the 5 man with Zeuch until Pearson is back.
