hopefully i'm wrong, i think he's better than vinny. i just remember watching how bad he was on the rangers pp, was useless on the point. i guess the rangers pp sucked altogether, but he looked lost out there.
anyone remember what other teams were trying to land him? i think calgary was a frontrunner for some reason, but i think that was back when they had iggy and kipper. where does he land?

Teams should only be looking at a two year deal for him, three years is to long IMO. He can be a nice depth fill on a two year deal.

I'm sure teams would love to get him on a 2 year deal. However, with Lecavalier getting 4.5/5yr in a similar situation, I assume Richards will be signed in the 4/4yr range.

He's still serviceable, but was getting paid as a top player, which he clearly no longer is. Teams would be stupid to pay him big money or give him a long-term contract, but he'd be fine for most teams at anything under $5 mill a season for a year or two.
