TY realy much Dobber for this. Those advice have been so valuable in the past so I'll give it another shot:

1-For the league in my sig, we start one G and can have a max of 2 active. For now, I have Miller and Holtby+Khudo in my farm. None of them are sure thing going into next year. Wats you tought on this trio? Go hard get (try) another goalie or just cross my finger and hope for the best?

2-Those player are forming the depth of my team. I need to cut or trade 3-4 of them to make room. Wath do you see from them next year?
Flash, J. Staal, Grabovski, Tatar, Weiss, Santorelli and Boedker.

3-Can I expect something like 20 pts, 200 PIM and 100 SOG from Borowiecki next year who will be on a one way contract?

Is Jake Allen going to end up being the guy in St. Louis this year?
Right now I'm very worried about Hiller and I get the sense that there is a big chance his fantasy value does what Tomas Vokoun's did a couple of years ago when he suddenly signed as a backup unexpectedly. You can hope...but I'm a little down on his chances

Jake Allen - no. Next year. Though he could be a December savior. But I don't think you'll see much in Oct/Nov

So this season I finally won the dynasty league I'm in and I did it in large part to Bryzgalov's silly good play the last week or so. Two shutouts helped me through the semis. But I feel it's time to say goodbye to him. I have to drop one guy and it's either Bryz or Weiss. Massive successes this year, both of them...

My goalies, farm included: Holtby, Halak, Lack, Pavelec, Andersen, Stalock, Neuvirth, Pickard, Eriksson and Bryz

My centers, farm included: Kopitar, Backstrom, Stepan, Little, Johnson, Perreault, Pirri, Petan and Weiss

This is a no-brainer Bryz drop, right? Let him go on a high note or whatever :P

Yeah, I'm going to try and work on my goalies this offseason...

How many nhl starts do you think Michael Hutchinson will get this coming season? And what can we expect from him long-term? Apparently he has a 52-15-3 record in echl/ahl/nhl this year. I traded him for Hackett because I wasn't planning on keeping either goalie and Buffalo had 1 game left, Winnipeg had 0. Hackett got injured while the trade was being processed so I didn't even get the 1 game. Who's the better goalie to own Hutchinson or Hackett?

    Thanks Dobber!

Curious on your outlook for Ryan Callahan? Obviously a lot will depend on where he lands, but if he sticks in Tampa will he keep a top 6 role? PP time?
Do you see Nino Niederreiter taking the next step soon? How will Nino and Cally compare in points next season?

    Thanks Dobber

I am in a 12 teams keeper league
Points only for FW and DEF and goalies : win = 3, SO = 2
Starting lineup : 12 forwards, 6 def and 2 goalies
18 keepers on 28 players total

I have already 9 forwards : Tavares, Malkin, Benn, Kopitar, N.Hopkins, Zetterberg, St-Louis, Barkov, Huberdeau
3 defenses : Doughty, Pietrangelo, Hedman
2 goalies : Rask and Quick

So my question : i must keep 4 from these following players. (I am looking for both short term and long term, which complicate my though process a little) (and no trade possible at this point).

    Elias Lindholm
    Mikkel Boedker
    Ryan Kesler
    Nick Bonino
    Justin Faulk
    Cam Ward

    Thanks
I would keep Ward because I like to be overly safe with my goalie options. I would keep Lindholm because he's the best player on that list. I would keep Faulk because dmen are harder to get off the wire than forwards. So that leaves Kesler or Boedker or Bonino. I think I would go with Kesler - injury risk but he should get back up over 60 this year

    2. Haha you just want to know if he's a permanent bust! I'm going forward with the idea that he'll get hurt each year and play maybe 70-73 games, and produce in the low 40s
    3. Absolutely. I think he'd be in the Top 10 for sure, and maybe as high as 5
Where would you put Lazar if he was included in my list? Right after Domi?

And Lazar versus Duclair in a points only? Lazar will produce way before Duclair right?

Thanks for taking questions Dobber. League in my signature. I've been offered 2nd overall pick 2014 entry draft (whoever is actually taken by Buffalo in that spot) and Damon Severson for Dougie Hamilton and my pick 2015 entry draft pick (my team is very strong so that 2015 pick should be fairly low, say 20-24 overall in 2015 - worth very very little in our league settings). So basically it's whoever goes 2nd this year NHL draft to me, Hamilton to him. Severson seems like a decent prospect but we can't carry too many prospects with our league settings (no farm system). Salary is a consideration, as Hamilton is in the last year of his entry level deal.

I've already been back and forth with him offering him packages involving other of my dmen (Leddy, Goligoski etc) for the 2nd pick, but no dice - he wants Hamilton.

30 team points only league. My criteria to be main roster worthy is minimum 40pts, but I can keep him on my farm team for another season.
I don't believe that he will this year or next, and I think that he tops out at around 42-45 points. Not his upside, just my own hunch (the 3YP in the prospects report has him at 42)

Wondering how you rank my D's. I would like to move the least valuable. I am thinking it is: Karlsson, Subban, OEL, Green, McDonagh, Carlson although I would love to hear your opinion.

Also, what are your thoughts on Lehner. How long until he owns the job in OTT outright? I have one remaining keeper slot, but I am not sure whether or not to dedicate it to him. Is he still considered an elite, or potentially elite, goalie?

    Thanks
Lehner is potentially an elite goalie and the job is his for 2015-16. Not this year.

I consider Carlson ahead of Green and McDonagh. I think Trotz gets him flying. McDonagh is your low guy (or Green if you hate injury-prone)

You need to address your G situation, I wouldn't feel comfortable with that at all.

Cut Santorelli, Weiss and Grabovski. I see Weiss and Flash bouncing back (but still cut Weiss). I think Boedker and Tatar improve on their numbers

Borowiecki - that is too high expectations. I would say 10 and 130+

I would rather have Bryzgalov than Pickard...because a year from now you can always drop Bryz if he failed you, and pick Pickard back up. Pickard is fourth on the depth chart and frankly I can even see Spencer Martin passing him two years. When the Avs signed Berra it drove a stake into Pickard IMO

Think of Bryz as a prospect with, like many good prospects, a 20% chance of success at the NHL level, but unlike most prospects he has little wait time. And as with any European prospect, there is risk of returning to Europe. Treat him like a prospect who is ready now, but who could fail.

Your predictions are pretty fair, though I would inch McDonagh closer to 40 or 42, and Spezza of course has the wildest potential swing (say 60 to 85)
