Braun for EE

Would Braun for Edwin Encarnacion be a fair trade? I’m new and I’m finding out OF is a very deep position, and having this 7^th overall pick on my team is just dead weight. I’m actually pretty set at 1B and 3B (Morneau, Trumbo, Donaldson, Carpenter, Alvarez, Bogaerts) but Morneau could come crashing down to normality soon, Trumbo (original 1B for my team) is always hurt, and Alvarez is fairly inconsistent. I also have arguably the best OF trio in baseball so I can use that position to upgrade elsewhere. I’m going off pure Yahoo rankings really, so this deal could be so heavy in my favour I wouldn’t know. I don’t really want to insult this GM either because he’s kinda moody, so offering a fair trade off the bat would put me in the good books.

If I could get EE for Braun I'd definitely do it so you can slide him into 1B over Morneau. Now's probably not a great time considering how hot Edwin has been lately and Braun hasn't been as impressive in that same time. Worth an offer but you're probably going to have to up the ante to make it work. Maybe toss in one of your better RPs if that's one of his weak areas.

He’s got 5 RP and a total of 7 pitchers who have the RP position (SP, RP). I know he streams his pitchers, so he prolly has 3 pitchers he just drops continuously to pick up starting pitchers, and then the rest are RP. Maybe I’ll keep this trade in mind when EE cools off.

I draft Braun thinking he would get 30 HR being steroid free, doesn’t look like he’ll get there this yr unless he goes on a tear. His disappointing season has been covered up by Stanton and Bentley for me.

I own Edwin and the only way I would trade him based on your roster is if I got Hanley or Stanton in return. In Hanley's case, I'd probably want a little more too. Edwin is a top 10 fantasy player regardless of format.
