Stanton Trade

I’ve been offered Verlander and Myers for Stanton. Stanton has been a beast for me, and this GM has been going after him since I drafted him. Is this a good trade? I kinda need an ace in a pitcher, but Verlander has sucked this yr.

Also this GM has a lot of people on the DL, so I think this 2for1 trade is to open up a roster spot. I think I’ll wait till his guys are off the DL to see who he drops. Here’s my team btw:

Nope, not even close for me. Verlander isn't what he used to be - Stanton is a top 3 bat so far this year and you should be able to haul in a real ace like Darvish, Strasburg, Hernandez, etc. Who are his other pitchers?

That’s what I figured. The way he’s targeting Stanton tells me Stanton is elite in a keeper league. Here’s the list of his pitchers:

He doesn't have enough pitching to get a deal done for Stanton. If I could see his hitters list, I could come up with a better counter offer, but I would much rather trade Braun than Stanton. I would probably take Verlander and Myers for Braun and hope Verlander figures it out this year.

I was inquiring about Verlander and he came back with this trade option. I don’t care for Myers, and Stanton is my beast this yr, especially with Braun doing nothing. His team is actually very injury depleted. So I’m going to walk away from this GMs team for now. Thanks for the help
