I felt like trading Ben Bishop and Okposo this year in my dynasty were two of the best trades I've made lately.
Trade 1: my Ben Bishop for Steve Mason, Bo Horvat, John Gibson, 2015 1st round pick
Trade 2: my Okposo and Gudas for Nichushkin, Jiri Tlusty, 2015 1st round pick
I'm rebuilding.
Also, in another league during Crosby's "concussion era" I traded him for a young Taylor Hall and a slumping Ryan Getzlaf. I'm still pleased with that one, even though I'm a huge Crosby fan.

My B.Burns + Niskanen for his R.Murphy, Ristolainen, Klefbom. He was in 3-4th place, gunning for playoff depth; I'm a rebuilding franchise. I think it was a solid win-win.

I would like to be in a league where someone would trade Giroux for anyone outside of 1st round draft status. It’s not like Giroux is old either where someone is dumping him before he goes sour.

Yeah the manager was really high on Hubs and kadri, if you recall both came off of big years last year so I definitely took full advantage of the seel high/buy low of the guys involved.

Traded Nash while he was still in Columbus plus Markov for Tavares (3 years ago I think?)
Traded E. Staal and Varlamov for Hiller and Seguin (while Seguin was still in Boston)
Traded Tavares for Perry and Benn last offseason, won my league this year.
Some of these trades fall into the category of "ok then, fantastic now", but in terms of the biggest steal, the two deals involving Tavares were my biggest steals. The first one was the year Markov missed the whole season with his knee injury, so it was basically Nash for JT, and the second one Perry was out scoring JT in my format even before he got injured, plus I got Benn too.

2011-2012 season, before the season started I traded Kesler, Kovalchuk and Backstrom (goalie) for Lunqvist, Duchene and E. Kane. Later that same season I traded Crawford and Gaborik for Rask (who was still a backup) and P. Kane.
Needless to say, I won my league that year (and every year since).

Traded Derek Smith (who?) For Tlusty the year before Tlusty had his mini breakout year.
Also traded a 2nd round entry pick for Paul Statsny when he was in a slump. Who I then traded for Letang and 3rd. So basically, a 2nd for a 3rd and Letang.
After another playoff blow up last summer, I got Fleury for Allen, Oshie, and a 2nd, which I thought was a steal for a top 5 or so fantasy goalie in a 20 team league. Luckily its regular season stats only.
