And i'd answer...I watched True Blood to the end, I only recently abandoned The Walking Dead after years of nonsense... I'm an Oilers, Arsenal, and Buccaneers fan, I never once stopped watching.

I just met Hafthor Bjornsson aka The Mountain up in Reykjavik. Holy crap hes a monster of a man but such a nice guy too. Easily the highlight of my trip.

I just re-read like 7 pages of this. My most pressing conclusion is I need to re-watch a couple seasons as a refresh. Although we have enough time I might just go from season 1.
TBF, criticism of the show and writing is more than welcome in the thread (at least from my perspective). I think complaints about the travel mechanisms are rather superfluous, but if it is a complaint people have why not vent. This really is the place for it.
I can't wait to read the books. I plan to dive in after the conclusion of the show. Personally in genres like this, I need the suspense/uncertainty more in the show than in a novel. Knowing what happens leaves me anticipating when those things will happen in the show, and missed details I think are key bother me in the show, whereas when I'm reading the novels there is such a deeper weave of a world that anticipating major events is less prevalent. Hopefully GRRM can actually finish the books.
