It would depend on my needs. If my future on defense looks weak, then no I would not. If I have a ton of D and needed a F then yes. The deal itself is fair, but I think Trouba will be a better D than Scheifele will a F

MacKinnon, no question. Even if he falls short of those two, I'd rather roll the dice on the upside.

Hey Dobber, thanks for doiing this. I'm looking at packaging Seguin and one of Eberle/Neal for OV in my limited keeper (24-man roster, keep 6).

Do you like this two-for-one trade for me? Who has better long term value between Neal and Eberle?

My sig is slightly outdated, I've traded OEL, Price and Pacioretty, and received Nash, Boyle, Varlamov and a 1st.

I do like that trade, upgrades your keep 6. High price, but deal is especially nice if you're going for it next year and not this one. Long term I prefer Neal, but it's close.

Also, among these, who is the most likely to be a #1 goalie for the longest time? Thank you.

    Hey Dobber,

I'm in a 12 man Head-to-head pool and I currently have 3rd waiver priority. Iginla has just been dropped and I'm thinking of dropping Hartnell to make a claim for him. Is Iggy hurt or something?

Based on the stats below should I make the move?

    Stats: G / A/ GWG / PPP / SHP / +/- / PIM / SOG / HITS / BLKS

    Thanks.

Iginla is slumping, but he's still 'bringing it' when it comes to Hits and SOG so definitely grab him.

    Hi Dobber,

currently leading my league and have a weak spot in my RW. Currently got Matt Read there due to your site's articles about matchups this wk, while I picked up Bozak last week on the IR.

    My league is
    G, A, +/-
    PIM are -0.5
    PPP, PPA, SHG, SHA
    Hits, Blocks and Foffs

Trying to trade either Plekanec or Bozak who are my 3rd centre after Crosby & Bergeron.

I can get Dupuis via trade,
or Blake Wheeler, Ryan Johanson, Jarome Iginla, PA Parenteau (now back with Duchene?) Jagr, Hornqvist, Purcell... on the waiver wire.

Who do you suggest my next RW should be?

Thanks for all your hard work,

    Welcome!

I would grab Wheeler off the wire, he'll be huge second half. I would also consider Johansen over Plekanec if the trade market doesn't work out.

I was just offered Wheeler and Chris Stewart for Parenteau and Hemsky. It's a 1 year H2H league. 16 teams. G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, PIMS, SOG, FW, GWG. Looks like a good deal to me. Just curious if I'm missing something here. Thanks!

Welcome! I would take that deal, though it's close. I just really like the outlook for Wheeler in the last 50 games. I also like PAP in the last 50 games, which makes the deal closer

It's a great team, but little depth at G and D so an injury there could sink you out of that spot. How deep is the waiver wire? Can You trade a couple of forwards to fill those holes and then grab a couple of forwards off the wire? That's what I'd be looking at.

I asked for Kessel. Offered a forward and a dman. He wants two forwards. He's in rebuild, looking to upgrade his keepers. Would you offer Datsyuk and Spezza to land Kessel? I'm in the race, within 20 points of the lead. Would need to recieve another F in the trade. Here is the players I might ask for with Kessel: D.Sedin - not a chance, he's his best F with Kessel. Nash, M.Koivu, Eriksson - would like to get one of these, with Kessel. Wheeler, Kreider, Brassard, Callahan, Eller - a tier under, would it be enough of a return with Kessel? Do you see a deal here? Wich forward(s) would you ask (or be happy to get) with Kessel for Spezza and Datsyuk? He's short on D too, so I could dangle Leddy or Goligoski with my offer to make him bite... Thanks. Edit: Each time you see a period in the text, I hit the return button. On my ipad, my repies always seem to be just one big paragraph... On my computer, the return button change line. Not on my ipad... ???
