    Hi dmvincent,

Where do you think I should be looking to improve next?

I lost quite a few hits in my deals to get Rinne, Staal, Doughty, Enstrom, giving up M.Koivu, Doan, Dudinsky, Franson...

The best FAs are Cammy, Ennis, Stewart, Roy, Fleish..., Tlusty

Do you recommend any of those FAs over current players...

    Thank you!

Well, its not a fantasy baseball question but I'll answer it for you.

    I'd drop Burrows for Cammalleri.

Otherwise, your team looks pretty good to me. RW is a little weak and you may want to upgrade that position.

    Good luck!

Do you think the Jays will move Joey Bats? And what would be some possible "good-fits" for him? I'm not sure if that trade talk has been squashed or not, I'm out of the loop!

Thanks DM, in my league we have two separate drafts, an AL and NL draft, then merge both leagues into one deep 20 team league. I am an AL team and the way the keepers work is that if I keep 8 from my league then I have to keep 2 from the other league. My team:

    Chris Davis
    Jurickson Profar
    Todd Frazier
    Eric Hosmer
    Austin Jackson
    Wil Myers
    Desmond Jennings
    Alexei Ramirez
    Dayan Viciedo
    Alberto Callaspo
    Billy Hamilton
    Josh Reddick
    Alex Avila

    Derek Holland
    Matt Harvey
    Jose Fernandez
    Greg Holland
    Danny Farquhar
    Martin Perez
    Corey Kluber
    Michael Wacha
    Brett Anderson
    Marco Estrada
    Carlos Torres

IMO my keepers from my league (AL) are: Davis, Profar, Hosmer, Jackson, Myers, Jennings, D. Holland and G. Holland so I can keep two of Frazier, Harvey or Fernandez from the NL as well.

Thoughts? sorry for the long post but it's a complicated league.

I think they should definitely move him.

This is not the kind of guy you want to build your team around. Toronto needs pitching help, badly.

I'm not really sure what the trade market is like for starting pitchers at this point but moving him for a stud starter is just one thing the Jays need to do.

I mean, look at their rotation...

    Dickey
    Morrow
    Buehrle
    Happ
    Redmond

    Rogers/Hutchison

Will they? Well, that's the question.

I'm also in talks trying to acquire Lawrie for Frazier but if it goes through who would you drop to keep Lawrie?

From the NL, your keepers should definitely be Fernandez and Wacha.

For AL keepers, I'd keep Martin Perez rather than D. Holland. I would also go for the home run with Billy Hamilton rather than Jennings.

Hamilton's speed and run production could be a huge asset in such a deep league.

I wouldn't bother trading Frazier because you shouldn't be keeping him IMO.

10 Team Yahoo Keeper League H2H Daily starts

We just finished up our 2nd year and for the 2nd straight year I have finished 9th out of 10 teams. I need some advice on some possible moves to make to improve my squad. What players would you consider moving/ offering up to help improve my roster. I realize my 1B position is soft and believe me, I have tried to improve it. Early in the year, I dealt away Chase Headley for Mitch Moreland when Moreland was doing well. In the long term, that didn't do much to help my offense. Any advice will be appreciated.

Sorry in advance for the long post.

Looks like a solid roster overall. Since you have both McCann and Lucroy, I'd try to trade McCann for an SP.

Garcia and Perez are ready to be called up should you choose to do so. They will have fantasy value and contribute.

Players I'd be looking to trade: Bautista, CC, Teixeira and Hamilton.

Pitching is definitely a weakness but you have some nice arms coming up in Taillon, Perez, Lee, Hultzen, Barnes and Zimmer.

Perez over Holland is interesting but Hamilton is an NL guy (CIN) so if I keep him it will be at the expense of either Fernandez or Wacha. If I could acquire Lawrie would you keep him over any of my other AL guys?

    Right, my bad.

Yeah if you can trade for Lawrie I would keep him over Jennings.

See if you can re-draft Hamilton.

You don't want to let Wacha or Fernandez get away. They're special!

Thanks again, so with Harvey, an NL guy, missing next season you think I should put him back in the draft? I won't be able to re-draft either Hamilton or Harvey as our AL and NL drafts are separate and we merge both leagues after the drafts. I could stash Harvey on IR all season if I keep him but is he worth keeping over Wacha or Fernandez?

In the end, its up to you.

I myself would rather not take the risk and keep Harvey because anything can happen after TJ surgery.

Yeah, it will be a risk. I lost in the finals last year and I would like to win it all this time so I've made it known that Harvey is available, so now it's waiting game to see what kind of offers come in.

Totally off subject but who do you like for the rest of the year between Grabner and Conacher? If you had to choose one or the other?
